Our Mission

Europerf main mission is to represent, defend and enhance the interests of the European metal perforating industry. This encompasses, amongst others, the following goals:

• Serving as a forum for the European metal perforating industry
• Promoting and informing about metals or other perforated materials
• Representing the technical, industrial, economical and political interests of the European perforators and serving as a bridgehead between industry and authorities
• Formulating and communicating the European perforating industry's position on any relevant issue
• sustaining a healthy growth of the perforating industry

Europerf does not have any commercial objective and, within the completion of its statutory goals, it does not intervene, either directly or indirectly, in the competition between market players, be they members or not.

Europerf has developed close collaborative contacts with the American Industrial Perforators Association (IPA) in order to enhance mutual knowledge and exchange on products and the market place.

This cooperation has led to the joint organisation of the World Perforating Conference, the first of which took place in 1996 in Rome. It has now become a triennial event organised alternatively in Europe and in the US. The next will be in 2011 in the USA.
